Located in an iconic Hugh Stubbins-designed modern tower, the apartment required accessibility upgrades for clients who wanted to downsize while creating an interior with style and attention to craft. A complete gut-rehab maintained the 1960s-era modernist sensibilities of generous views and slender details. Corridors were widened, kitchen and bathrooms updated, and walls were thickened to conceal storage.
